About Early Learning Adventures at Jaymes Academy in Smyrna
We are a community child care center based in Smyrna. We care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join kindergarten.
Our curriculum covers everything your child needs to excel! From literacy and math to music and movement, to science and social skills. We nurture academic and personal success, all the while promoting a fun atmosphere that gets our young adventurers excited to learn!

Our philosophy is based on learning, fun and service. Our core values are at the center of our teaching: love, kindness, service, fun, education and inclusivity. We prepare children for academic and personal success. We strive to teach children about unconditional love. We demonstrate kindness, compassion and gratitude to our children through our everyday interactions with them and daily prayers.
By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms and environments in a home-away-from-home environment, we can create a space where children feel empowered, excited, and ready to learn.
We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as values, emotional intelligence and building friendships.
Who We Are
CEO, Ms Angie’s passion to care for young children and setting them up for success drove her to design and build a center that focuses on creating a warm, home-away-from-home environment that offers the highest quality care and educational experience.
Our teachers serve our families with love and kindness to create a fun, equal and safe atmosphere where educational opportunities and adventures thrive.
Ms Angie has a master’s degree in child development and family studies and has over 30 years of child care experience. She has used this collection of knowledge to design a unique building that focuses on the children and teachers. The building offers a range of facilities such as a teacher's lounge, a teacher work area, wide open playgrounds and indoor play structures.

Infants
6 weeks to 12 months
We provide age-appropriate props and toys for your child.
Circle time with music and clapping to help develop muscles, coordination, listening and language.
Infant curriculum using simple picture books.
Educators use play to guide your baby to meet developmental milestones such as rolling over and crawling.
We offer a language-rich environment. Teachers will read, sing, and converse with your child to help build up the language centers of the brain.
Toddlers
1-2 years
Daily music centers and circle time.
Daily crafting projects with a range of materials such as paint, cardboard, popsicle sticks and more.
Introduction of science, math and literacy with hands-on activities like sticker art or loose-play parts.
Daily storytime and sing-a-longs.
Preschool
3-4 years
Dramatic role-play that encourages social and practical life skills.
Daily music centers and circle time.
Daily arts and crafts to promote self-expression.
Daily storytime with discussions among friends to hone listening, comprehension, and social skills.
Classrooms are full of language-rich resources: books, colorful posters and vocabulary games.
Pre-K
4-5 years
Dramatic role-play that encourages social and practical life skills.
Daily music centers and circle time.
Daily open-ended arts and crafts to promote self-expression, using paper, paints, clay or pipe-cleaners
Weekly science, math, reading and social skills themes to direct learning, harness curiosity and motivate learning
‘More Math More Literacy’ program gently challenges children to learn advanced skills to get them ready for kindergarten. Children will learn shapes, identify patterns, and learn to write their names.
